Hemp is used around the world by millions of people as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle.
Check out this recipe for an old favorite, Caesar salad from our Ambassador Michelle Yandle
For the dressing:
½ cups raw cashews soaked overnight
¼ cup filtered water
2 Tbsps hemp farm hemp seed oil
½ Tbsp Dijon mustard
2 small cloves garlic
½ Tbsp Worchestershire sauce
1 Tbsp capers
½ tsp sea salt and pepper (or to taste)
For the salad:
1 large head of romaine lettuce (roughly 10 cups)
2 cups baby spinach or kale (or a mixture of both)
¼ cup hemp flakes (sold for animals in NZ and Australia)
Whizz together the dressing ingredients in a high-speed blender or food processor until creamy. Toss with the salad ingredients in a large bowl.
Sprinkle with parmesan or your favourite vegan variation.
