Makes 1 smoothie
I just love the creaminess of avocado mixed with the nutty flavor of Pure Hemp Protein Powder. This recipe is a great afternoon snack when the slump hits. Smoothies should always have some form of protein to keep us fuller for longer and hemp is a wonderful source of protein for smoothies. This is a recipe I used to make all the time when I loved in Canada. If you want to make it fruit-free simply swap the banana for a frozen courgette.
1-1.5 cups almond or coconut milk
2 Tbsp hemp protein powder
½ a frozen banana
1 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp ground linseed or LSA
1 cup spinach or fresh silverbeet
Blend the ingredients in your blender and enjoy!
